This paper explores how Cadi Ayyad University (Morocco) can foster education for sustainable entrepreneurship through hybrid pedagogical models combining effectuation theory and artificial intelligence (AI). It is part of an early-stage doctoral research, grounded in a targeted literature review and the design of an experimental workshop. This workshop integrates effectual principles, generative AI tools, and a mixed-method approach focusing on students’ curiosity, engagement, and ideation capacities. The study adopts a critical realist perspective and an abductive reasoning process. Expected outcomes include pedagogical appropriation of AI, emergence of frugal innovations, and the co-construction of transferable models. This research seeks to renew entrepreneurial education in constrained and uncertain environments, particularly within the African context.
