MITRA: Don't let anything slip by...

When agronomy students investigate the toxicity of glyphosate, what was meant to be a simple social science assignment turns into a crisis. Guided by their professor Mitra, they embark on research that immerses them in the very heart of the controversy. An attack, a suicide, data theft, internal conflicts, and threats lead them into a labyrinth of information where farmers, industry representatives, scientists, activists, and scientific data pile up to the point of disorientation—until they uncover an unsuspected reality of science, whose very opacity confuses the actors of the controversy themselves. What role do the social sciences play in an engineering school? A project designed to understand the mechanisms of a scientific controversy.
