Since 2010, numerous regional initiatives have been launched to bring together academics from different disciplines, as well as associations and socio-economic stakeholders, around issues related to the effects of climate change at the regional scale and, increasingly, around questions concerning biodiversity loss. These self-organized dynamics at the regional level have been structured into networks and have adopted a common name: Regional Climate Expert Groups (GREC). The objective of the GREC is to establish scientific expertise in order to promote the contribution of knowledge and solutions on issues related to climate change in the Hauts-de-France region. During this session, the objectives, missions, and actions of the GREC in France will be presented to support the socio-economic actors of the territory.
