The 2021–2027 State–Region Planning Contract ECRIN “Environment, Climate – Research and Innovation”: Challenges and Objectives
The CPER 2021-2027 ECRIN project – french acronym for "Environment Climate – Research and Innovation" aims to better identify and understand the impacts of climate change on atmospheric physico-chemistry, health, and ecosystem services, and to propose adaptation and mitigation actions, while developing the promotion of research projects, particularly through partnerships with the socio-economic sector, with a view to reducing our environmental footprint. This project, funded by the French government, the Hauts-de-France region, and the European Union, is co-led by the “Université de Lille” and the “Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale”. It is built around a consortium of 13 institutions and 26 laboratories involving 350 researchers and engineers. This presentation aims to highlight the ECRIN model for funding collaborative research partnerships between public laboratories and socio-economic actors in the Hauts-de-France region.
