Innovation Economics for Future Times

I will focus on policies to support innovation as system’s transformation and will address some design challenges such policy needs to meet: multiple areas of interventions (market, technologies, social norms), experimental nature and discovery process, coordinated push, optimal level of interventions, evaluation. I will also discuss why the public sector should take the role of orchestrator (rather than large firms) but also why such policy is not about the public sector only.
