Corporate-Startup Collaboration: From Topic to Research Agenda
By Didier Chabaud
English
While practitioners consider the quality of corporate-startup collaboration to be fundamental to the performance of innovation strategies, scholars have done few research on the topic. While the literature initially focused on describing the practical modalities of collaboration, leading to a fragmented view of knowledge, recent years have seen an increase in scholarly production and an effort to integrate knowledge about the corporate-startup collaboration. The result is a vision that focuses on the antecedents, processes and outcomes of the collaboration, while opening up to a better consideration of the tensions, organizational dimensions and intermediaries involved in corporate-start-up collaboration.
