A literature search identifies three organizational types. The early 21st century has been upset by a new technological cycle (as defined by Schumpeter) that triggered the emergence of a new type. How is it possible to grasp this new and evolving reality? What are the features of this new organizational type? This paper aims to construct an ideal organization type and describes the first results derived from a study of the start-up experience. JEL codes: L2, M13
