The organization of work is analyzed through the coordinating modes of human assets. This coordination supposes heterogeneous assets that from a theoretical viewpoint have different characteristics and specificities. To this approach, this paper adds the transferability concept. This concept throws theoretical light on the new organizational rules by considering the firm under a dual dimension: allocative and creative.
