Quality Certification and Industrial Management: The Case of Training Organizations

What does certification mean? How is it defined? How is it applied? These questions are part of the legacy of the industrial management and organization model, with its system of guidelines, standards, quality seals, and certification, which have now trickled down to the area of training. As part of a global interpretation, this paper suggests that the outlines of this new pattern of connections between training and quality assurance certification are becoming better defined.
