Innovation and cognition
The link between cooperation, networks and innovation is understood through knowledge which it is supposed to promote sharing. The connection, the frequency of the contacts, the sharing of a common language facilitate the transfer of knowledge. Moreover, the intensity of the links and the confidence characterizing the relational capital of firms and the sharing of a common vision characterizing cognitive capital, are important vectors of intra and inter organizational transfer of knowledge. By their respective contributions, the authors of this issue feed the reflection on the inter-organizational / individual dynamics between actors (users, suppliers, competitors) engaged in an innovation process. These appear strongly modulated by the nature of the knowledge exchanged and by the type of privileged innovation (incremental, of rupture).
